Founded in 1975, ELMAN specializes in the development and production of electronic equipment and systems for maritime safety, with a global presence in over 50 countries.
A long, uninterrupted shot unfolds the story of the company’s journey from 1975 to today — a passage through time that reflects not only its technological evolution, but also the people, places, and objects that have quietly marked the rhythm of these five decades.

On April 11, 2025, the FILM IMPRESA AWARD was held at the Casa del Cinema in Rome, set against the stunning backdrop of Villa Borghese.
The event honored short films, ultra-short features, and outstanding documentaries that showcase Italian companies revealing their stories and the origins of their industrial production.
ELMAN, 50 Years On Board, received the award for Best Film in the II&S section: Innovation, Image & Sound, curated by Almaviva, with the following motivation:
